Turquoisevine

This large bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 190 feet (57.9 meters) and growing as high as 39 feet (11.9 meters).

It takes 2 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The sickle shaped, waxy leaves reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length. They are amber on the edges and turquoise at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of small dark blue flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of large fruits.
