Azure Dreamer

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small caudiciform grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The thin stem is moss green, and is covered in many rigid white spines. It has a curved, stocky, green trunk atop a round block of waxy, exposed roots. The branches are thick and brown and are short, rigid and upright.

The smooth-edged, long, tapering leaves are pastel blue and lime. They are frail, but easily come away when pulled.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of faded orange, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 11 petals. It has a weak scent that smells like pot-purri.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the caramel flesh is smooth, and the azure sap is thin.

Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
It is suitable for making strong rope
