Ambergrass

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, red spikelet.
During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.
It is suitable for making paper
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
