Emerald

This gray moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges, In marshes, and In bogs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is extremely robust.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.
