Brown Flame Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In heathlands.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly resilient.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores.
