Cerulean

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for around 11 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many stocky, crooked stems covered in ridged, burgundy and brown bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches are short stubs with dozens of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of tiny, spear shaped, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are either blue, or magenta with sky blue patches, light and crispy.

In mid-spring it produces many bunches of medium-sized, turquoise flowers with long, narrow petals. They are very delicate and have a strong scent that smells like coconut.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
