Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its gray-green stems grow in bunches of 3 and are wispy and straight, and the huge, copper and gray-green leaves are light green on the underside and are perforated with smooth edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
Each stem splits 4 to 10 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with alternating petals of dark grey and brown, with a lilac central disk. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 42 widely spaced, narrow petals. They detach easily.
It has no scent, and it has excessive amounts of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
It is difficult to cut through.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
