Silverfern

This silver moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In damp forests, and In bogs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly delicate.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
