Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In rainforests, On rotten logs, and In heathlands.
It is colossal, growing up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is overwhelmingly frail; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores.
