Bronzevine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 156 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has several narrow, straight stems covered in cracked, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is light brown.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, sickle shaped, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are either caramel, or pale orange with bronze zig-zags, flimsy and soft.

In early summer it produces a thick sheet of small, lime flowers with 3 pointed petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a strong scent that smells like citrus.


It is very resistant to fire damage.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
