Caramel Moss

This olive and caramel moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In marshes, In moorlands, and In heathlands.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly flimsy.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.

The entire plant is edible and the grains areslightly spicy.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
