Magenta Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This modest-sized, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, magenta tuft.

During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.

The grains are bitter, but very healthy and slightly sweet.
It is suitable for making paper
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
