Silverfern
Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This large flower grows up to 6.9 feet (2.1 meters) tall. Its silver stem is very thick, and the small, moss green leaves are grey on the underside and are needle-like with serrated edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
A single small flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 67 cm (26.4 inches) wide, with solid bronze petals decorated with indigo lines and a pastel green central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 petals. They are hardy.
