Aquaflora

This big fruit tree grows up to 36 feet (11.0 meters) tall and lives for up to 40 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 60 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a narrow, straight trunk covered in thin, rough, pine-coloured bark, and inside, the dense wood is white.

The branches are short and thin and are covered with small amounts of small, long, narrow leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are violet and turquoise.

In early spring, it produces handfuls of small, pink blossoms with 4 crescent-shaped shaped petals. They detach easily and have a weak scent that smells like cinnamon.

In mid-summer it produces tiny, cuboid fruit. The sticky indigo skin is thin and edible when roasted; it is sweet and sour, and the crunchy green flesh is salty and syrupy. The vivid green seed is large and sits at the end of the fruit.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with grassy ground between them.
