Caramel Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This large leaf succulent grows up to 98 feet (29.9 meters) tall. The tapering stem is light brown, and is covered in thick sheets of rigid white spines. The thick leaves are either green or caramel, with olive dots. Small amounts of them grow on stocky, copper branches that are very long and slender. The leaves are flexible, but easily come away when pulled.

It is quick growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are magenta at the sides and magenta at the center, grow at the top, reappearing after 7 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is largely flat with 53 widely spaced narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like skunk spray.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the red flesh is rubbery, and the blood red sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
The grains are bitter, but very healthy and can be used to make numerous baked goods.
It is difficult to cut through.
