Turquoise

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 20 feet (6.1 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is emerald and grey, and is covered in handfuls of rigid gentle orange spines. The toothed-edged, long, tapering leaves are light brown with turquoise tips. Large amounts of them grow from the base in random directions. The leaves are resistant, and easily come away when pulled.

It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid peach petals and a crimson central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a cube with 5 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like rotting meat.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the aquamarine flesh is leathery, and the beige sap is thin.
