Burgundy Grass

This small, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in extensive patches that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, beige flower.

During the late summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
