Caramel

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is emerald, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid cream spines. The knobbly leaves are blue on the sides and bright orange at the center. Sparse amounts of them grow on thin, caramel and grey branches that trail down to the ground. The leaves are light, and detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid orange petals decorated with intense purple lines and a aquamarine central disk grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. It has a weak scent that smells like rich perfume.

The leaf succulent's skin is rock-hard, the black flesh is smooth, and the lilac sap is thin.
