Hazelgrass

This small, hazel and gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are delicate and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, green tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.
