Emerald Flame Moss

This green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In moorlands.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely robust.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores.
