Bluegrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short, blue grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in small clumps that are strong and tough.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, dark brown flower.

During the late autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.

It is suitable for making paper
It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
