Emerald Capsule Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainforests, and On rotten logs.
It is colossal, growing up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely resistant.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
