Copperflower
Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its lime green stem is thick and straight, and the large, yellow leaves are wispy with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.
6 to 11 large flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid copper petals decorated with orange lines and a white central disk. The flower head is made up of 7 petals in raised layers. They fall easily.
It has a delicate scent that smells like bleach, and it has a fair amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
