Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is very rigid; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
