Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This large caudiciform grows up to 89 feet (27.1 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is gray-green, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible muted yellow spines. It has a wavy, thick, dark brown trunk atop a narrow block of smooth, exposed roots. The branches are thin and purple and are short and thin.
The rounded-edged, broad, flat leaves are found in grey and subtle red varieties. They are rigid, but easily come away when pulled.
It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are bronze on the edges and muted orange at the center grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 26 curved petals. It has an intense scent that smells like freshly baked bread.
The caudiciform's skin is nearly impenetrable, the pastel green flesh is rough, and the azure sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
