Pine-colored Tree

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 92 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, straight trunk covered in fine, ridged, pine-coloured bark, and inside, the very light wood is yellow.

The branches are very short and thin and are covered with very large amounts of rough, tiny, stiff, pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are grey and caramel.

In late summer it forms tiny, brown, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
