Crimson Cactus
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stem is pink-red, and is covered in brittle green spines.
It is fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid orange petals decorated with pink dots and a crimson central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 7 petals in raised layers. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like cinnamon.
The cactus's skin is thin, the azure flesh is waxy, and the white sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.
It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
