Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 6 wide stems. Each stem is copper, and is covered in handfuls of flexible lime spines. The spherical body is copper, and is covered in sharp spines.
It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of crimson, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. It has an overpowering scent that smells like mango.
The cactus's skin is nearly impenetrable, the dark grey flesh is soft, and the green sap is thin.
