Copper

This small caudiciform grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stem is copper, and is dotted with small blood red spines. The wide, intense orange trunk can grow to as much as 6 feet (1.8 meters) in diameter. Its pink-red branches trail down to the ground.

The smooth-edged, stiff, pointed leaves are found in indigo and peach varieties. They are robust, and detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are olive on the underside and vibrant yellow on the top grows at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 23 curved petals. It has a weak scent that smells like honeysuckle.

The caudiciform's skin is tough, the indigo flesh is leathery, and the beige sap is thin.
