Crimson Moss

This red moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In rainforests, and In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is slightly strong.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
