Bluebubble Palm

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This enormous leaf succulent grows up to 111 feet (33.8 meters) tall. The tapering stem is yellow-green, and is covered in thousands of fine, gold, hair-like spines. The bubbly leaves are blue and vibrant blue. Small bunches of them grow on wide, yellow-green branches that are short stubs. The leaves are durable, and detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are generally florescent red; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grows at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 curved petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like coconut.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the azure flesh is rubbery, and the muted green sap is thin.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
