Bloodvine

This large leaf succulent grows up to 97 feet (29.6 meters) tall. The perforated stem is blood red or blood red, and is covered in lots of fine, slate, hair-like spines. The slender leaves are either beige or amber, with cyan zig-zags. Very large amounts of them grow on flat, moss green branches that are short and thin. The leaves are tough, but do not detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are generally red; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grows at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is shaped like a sphere with 14 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has no scent.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the copper flesh is smooth, and the subtle yellow sap is thin.
