Amber Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This small leaf succulent grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The thin stem is moss green, and is covered in handfuls of flexible beige spines. The stocky leaves are either beige or amber, with cyan zig-zags. Large amounts of them grow on thick, emerald branches that trail down across the ground. The leaves are hardy, and take little effort to detach.
It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid sky blue petals decorated with light grey lines and a blood red central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 42 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like a newborn baby.
The leaf succulent's skin is rock-hard, the light grey flesh is slimy, and the caramel sap is thin.
