Moss type: Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In marshes, On rotten logs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is extremely delicate.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.

The sap is edible and very sour.
