Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its yellow stem is very thin, and the small, lime green leaves are fan-like with ripped edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.
Hundreds of tiny flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with petals that are dark grey at the sides and slate at the center. The flower head is shaped like a dish with 20 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. They are sturdy.
It has a powerful scent that smells like new books, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
