Amberfern

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 31 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has many sturdy, curved stems covered in thin, cracked, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is black.

The branches are very short and thin that and are covered with very large amounts of small, slender, pointed, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are either pink or slate, with magenta patches, resistant and soft.

It produces many clusters of large, amber flowers with many layers of petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a faint scent that smells like misty mornings. In midwinter it forms medium-sizedhazel, winged seeds that float and land far away.
