Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On rotten logs, In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and can spread and grow quickly, and is very rigid; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
