Coppervine

This giant vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,145 feet (653.8 meters) and growing as high as 455 feet (138.7 meters).

It takes 32 years for the red stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 10 inches (25 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The very thick, smooth leaves reach up to 3.7 feet (1.1 meters) in length. They are orange and indigo, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thick bunches of average copper flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small seed pods.
