Coralactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 24 feet (7.3 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 2 perforated stems. Each stem is green, and is covered in lots of fine, faded red, hair-like spines. The tear-shaped body is gray, and is covered in lots of fine, faded red, hair-like spines.

It is fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with each petal a slightly different shade of vibrant orange grows at the top, reappearing after 3 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 30 petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like coffee.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the yellow flesh is leathery, and the brown sap is thin.


It has impressive regenerative properties.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
