Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges.
It is large, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and can spread and grow quickly, and is slightly sturdy.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.
