Bronze

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short caudiciform grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stem is dark grey, and is covered in handfuls of flexible bronze spines. The crooked, caramel trunk can grow to as much as 1 foot (30.5 cm) in diameter in the middle. Its lime green and gray-green branches trail down across the ground and start growing halfway up the stem.

The thick bunches of ripped-edged, finger-like leaves are cyan and beige. They are rigid, but take some effort to detach.

It is slow growing, taking 43 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid cream petals decorated with yellow lines and a amber central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like bleach.

The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the hazel flesh is slimy, and the brown sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
