Bluelime Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This giant, lime or deep blue grass grows up to 37 feet (11.3 meters) tall. The flame-shaped stalks grow in large clumps that are light and frail.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, vibrant orange spikelet.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.

Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is excellent at collecting and storing carbon dioxide
