Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainforests, In marshes, and On rotten logs.
It is massive, growing up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely durable.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
