This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In rainforests.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is very rigid.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
