Emerald

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In heathlands, In marshes, and On trees.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely light.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
