Bronze

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This large caudiciform grows up to 83 feet (25.3 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is dark grey, and is dotted with small green spines. It has a slanted, flat, bronze trunk atop a wide ball of silky, exposed roots. The branches are wide and orange-yellow and trail down towards the ground.

The wavy-edged, very thick leaves are lime and violet. They are light, and take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 13 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are generally bronze; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a trumpet made up of dozens of widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has a soft scent that smells like cheese.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the cream flesh is smooth, and the sky blue sap is thin.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
