Blackbell.

This colossal shrub grows up to 13 feet (4.0 meters) tall and lives for around 22 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous sturdy, curved stems covered in delicate, smooth, black with white speckled bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches are very long and slender with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of small, spear shaped, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are copper and magenta, frail and covered in fine hairs.

In mid-summer it produces dozens of medium-sized, turquoise flowers with needle-like petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like coffee.
