Aquamarine Succulent

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized cactus grows up to 20 feet (6.1 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 2 tapering stems. Each stem is aquamarine, and is covered in hundreds of rigid aquamarine spines. The cuboid body is pink-red, and is covered in dozens of flexible deep orange spines.

It is quick growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are generally dark grey; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. It has a weak scent that smells like bonfire smoke.

The cactus's skin is thin, the violet flesh is rubbery, and the cyan sap is thin.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
