Magenta
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This small leaf succulent grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is black, and is dotted with small crimson spines. The ripped-edged, circular leaves are solid magenta with aquamarine streaks. Large amounts of them grow from the base like rose petals. The leaves are flimsy, but do not detach easily.
It is steady-growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid ashy blue petals decorated with blood red dots and a gold central disk grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with 20 raised narrow petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like vomit.
The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the dull red flesh is smooth, and the white sap is thin.
It is bio-luminescent.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
