Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This huge, lime green grass grows up to 29 feet (8.8 meters) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in small clumps that are resilient.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, blue flower.
During the late autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
All parts of the moss are edible.
